In case of setting impinging plane waves as source, S wave separates in SH and SV and SV contributes in P wave effects. So sometimes these effects separate in case of SH and P-SV components. Is it possible to analyze such effects?

Yes, it is possible but physically it has meaning only in 2D medium. For this purpose is better to use just 2D code because it is more efficient compared to 3D code.
