THE 4TH ANNOUNCEMENT Workshop
Numerical Modeling of Earthquake Motions:
June 23 - 27, 2024
|
The aim of the workshop is to share recent advances in the numerical modeling and understanding of earthquake rupture, earthquake ground motion, and ambient seismic noise. Better understanding of physics of these phenomena based on available seismic data and efficient numerical modelling should eventually help to progress in predicting earthquake ground motion.

Transportation
Participants may conveniently use the Bratislava Airport or
Vienna International Airport (Austria), which is located only 46 km from Bratislava.
There is at least one bus connection each half an hour from the Vienna airport
to the Bratislava. The bus stop at the airport is located directly in front of the arrival hall.
Alternatively participants may arrive in Wien Hauptbahnhof and use one of
many train connections to Bratislava.
More information about how to reach Bratislava.
We organize transportation from Bratislava - Bus Station Nivy to the Smolenice Castle.
The bus pick-up places and schedule will be specified later.
Participants preferring individual transportation to the Smolenice Castle will
be provided with detailed information on how to reach the Castle.
